Services

Accessorizer now provides just one single-point-of-entry Service for all code generation actions:

Accessorizer Action Panel service

Choose a keyboard shortcut not being used by Xcode 4.  I suggest the following, which I use throughout this help guide:

If you have previous versions of Accessorizer installed on your system, and even if you’ve deleted all other copies of Accessorizer, the Mac OS X system may still display services which Accessorizer 3.0 no longer supports.

Be sure to turn on only the Accessorizer Action Panel Service, set the keyboard shortcut, and turn any other previously provided services off (uncheck).  You will be able to generate all those code generation services via the single-point-of-entry service and the Action Menu or Action Panel.

This means you now have have just one keyboard shortcut to memorize when invoking an Accessorizer service.

Accessorizer V3.0

Custom Table

Accessorizer’s Custom Table for custom accessors and custom properties has been removed
If there’s a public outcry for its return, I’ll consider bringing it back.

The Action Menu

The Action Panel

Can be shown under the mouse location, or as a statusItem (menu bar).  It can be invoked via a global shortcut provided that Universal Access: Enable Assistive Devices is turned on.  All actions can be keyboard driven with automatic Xcode activation and automatic insertion of code generation results at Xcode’s insertion point.  Set Setup help.

Can be set to open and stay open while hovering above your files or pushed to the side, or anchored in an available space in your Xcode toolbar.  All actions can be keyboard driven with automatic Xcode activation and automatic insertion of code generation results at Xcode’s insertion point. While the Action Panel can be driven entirely by the keyboard if you have “All Controls” turned on in your System Prefs (see above screenshot), the Action Panel is more for mouse users.  See InDepth help.

SHIFT-CTRL-CMD-0

(shift control command zero)

SHIFT-OPT-CMD-0

(shift option command zero)

Once the Accessorizer Action Panel service is invoked with your code, code generation is now best done through the Action Menu or Action Panel
